Dear Chamber of Commerce Members,
As we enjoy the patriotic activities this month, I am filled with a profound sense of optimism and determination. July not only marks a midpoint in our business year but also presents us with an opportune moment to reflect on our achievements thus far and to strategically align ourselves for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. In the spirit of collaboration and progress, let us continue to foster innovation, drive economic growth, and strengthen the bonds that make our community resilient and prosperous.
If you haven’t already participated in the ChamberWest survey, you will be receiving a reminder email with the link. Please take a few minutes to complete the ChamberWest survey as we are gathering the information to share with the board for review and consideration. We want to ensure that ChamberWest is delivering on programs/events our members need.
As a non-profit 501c6 organization, ChamberWest is governed by a Board of Directors. If you are interested in serving on the ChamberWest Board of Directors and meet the requirements, please take a minute to review and fill out the nomination form and send it in the ChamberWest offices by July 31st. You can access a fillable nomination form at: Board Nomination Application.
The Annual Awards Gala with this year’s theme of Denim and Diamonds, scheduled for August 28 at the Viridian Event Center is our biggest event of the year. Join over 350 attendees for a fun evening recognizing and celebrating business success while spending time with colleagues and friends. We look forward to recognizing the twelve award finalists, announcing the four winners, and honoring our Hall of Fame Award Recipient. If you are interested in a sponsorship of this important signature ChamberWest event, more information is available at: Gala Sponsorship Opportunities. Please reach out to a ChamberWest team member for questions and for support.
Applications are coming in and we are again expecting a sell out for the 2024/2025 Leadership Institute Program, which starts September 18-19. If you have a strong leader in your organization or an up-and-coming leader, you may be interested in sending them through this impactful and highly acclaimed program. More information and an application for participation is available at: CW Leadership Institute. This program is limited to 30 participants with a maximum of two per organization per year. With expected funds from the golf tournament raffle, there will be two scholarships available for non-profits or small businesses with less than 10 employees.
